Although the book covers all types of instruments, Hipkins's expertise and early career as a tuner for John Broadwood & Sons is evident in his attention to keyboard instruments.

The Rushworth & Dreaper

Rare edition, 26 pages, pasted photos,  no date. 
Rushworth & Dreaper was a Liverpool firm founded in 1828 as pipe organ builders and  musical instrument dealers and collectors. In 1967, their collection was purchased by the Liverpool Museum.
